| Salon Equipment USA
offers design services in salon and spa design. This
service generally entails consulting with the owner
to gain an understanding of their objectives and their
preferences, and then providing the following:
(1) An overall salon plan, integrating
the desired salon/spa services and the basic configuration
of the available space;
(2) An optimum traffic flow and work
flow throughout the salon;
(3) Specific floor plans and equipment
plans consistent with the overall salon plan, owner
preferences, and general expectations for public facilities.
The plan, in some cases, may also include some recommendations
as regards plumbing and electrical, but SEUSA is not
a licensed architect or engineer and SEUSA does not
assume any responsibility or liability as regards
state, federal, or local building codes. We recommend
that licensed plumbers and electricians be engaged
for these specific needs.
This can be a time consuming process that can cost
$000's, but SEUSA is pleased to absorb the cost of
this service to salon owners who then purchase their
new equipment from us. After the initial consultation,
SEUSA requires a design retainer before actual design
work commences. The retainer, paid directly to SEUSA,
is 50 cents per square foot, but in no case less than
$1,000.00. The retainer is then rebated to the salon
owner, reducing the final cost of the new equipment,
at the rate $10.00 per $100.00 of new salon equipment
purchased.
